TSO (The Stationery Office) TSO is the largest publisher in the UK by volume, publishing over 8,000 titles last year alone. We have a 200 year inheritance of secure, no-fail delivery as publisher to UK Government and Parliament and more recently, as publisher for many commercial organisations. TSO works with approximately 120 clients and has over 100,000 customers in over 80 countries.
Privatized from HMSO (now OPSI) in 1996, we were acquired in 2007 by Williams Lea, the global Corporate Information Solutions provider.
We provide a comprehensive range of publishing services to address all aspects of the publication life-cycle including content commissioning and editing, publication design and layout, multi-format publishing, marketing, sales and distribution. For many clients, TSO has become the principal partner for all ongoing publishing requirements.
TSO has an extensive distribution channel both directly and through international specialist distributors in all developed and emerging markets. Official ITIL Publisher
TSO has a long history of working with OGC (The Office of Government Commerce) and is the only Official publisher of its Best Practice guidance, managing various refresh projects on behalf of OGC. TSO provides Best Practice users with high quality core and complementary publications for ITIL®, PRINCE2®, MSP®, M_o_R® and P3O®.
