APMG-International is a global Examination Institute accredited by The APM Group Ltd, the Official Accreditor of the Office of Government Commerce. They have regional offices located in Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Their portfolio of qualifications includes the OGC Best Practice qualifications of ITIL®, PRINCE2®, MSP®, M_o_R®, and P3O®. In addition they offer a host of specialist management qualifications such as Change Management, Agile Project Management and Service Catalogue.
APMG-International accredit training organisations, trainers and training materials and certify examination candidates through a variety of methods. Their Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs) have a wide variety of qualifications to choose from if they want to extend their offerings to candidates.
The APM Group (APMG) has continually developed and adapted its accreditation processes with three clear objectives in mind:
- To ensure the marketplace, including individuals taking examinations and organizations seeking consultancy advice, has confidence in the services provided by its accredited organizations.
- To help its accredited organizations develop and extend the market for its services, both by supporting new initiatives and helping to prevent the misuse of intellectual property rights.
- To ensure that, whilst its accreditation processes remain rigorous and standards are kept high, unnecessary burdens are not placed on those being accredited.
